Give your Cortex agents instant context with file attachments

Sometimes you have a one-off list or document that you don’t want to keep in a knowledge store. You can now attach a file when you run a Cortex agent. On the Run Agent screen, you can add a CSV, text, Markdown or PDF file alongside your prompt for the agent to read as context. The file is used for that single run only.

For example, if you’ve recently migrated to Street, some records may be missing certificate expiry dates or room details. Attach a spreadsheet of the missing information, and your agent can fill in the gaps across your properties in one run, so you don’t have to update each record by hand or store the file anywhere.

• Single run only: The agent reads the file for one run without saving it to a knowledge store.
