Keep total control over how much your Cortex agents spend

Keeping software costs under control across busy teams can feel like a constant balancing act. Admins can now set optional monthly and per-run spending limits in pounds for any Cortex agent. Both caps are off by default, and admins receive email alerts when an agent reaches 80% and 100% of its monthly cap.

• Monthly and per-run caps: Set limits in pounds for an agent's monthly spend or for a single run.
• Automatic pauses: When an agent hits its monthly cap, new runs pause until the next billing cycle, though an admin can still push a one-off run through.
• Mid-run safeguards: A run that would exceed its per-run limit stops mid-run to prevent unexpected costs.
