CORTEX - IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please read this notice carefully before enabling Cortex. By clicking "I Agree" below you confirm that you have read and understood this notice in full and that you have authority to bind your organisation.
1. What Cortex does
Cortex operates autonomously. It can access any data within your Street and/or Spectre environment, including across both environments if you subscribe to both products. It can take real-world actions including sending external communications, modifying data, and interacting with third-party services without requiring human approval for each individual action. Some of those actions may be difficult or impossible to reverse.
2. Your data will be transmitted to a third-party large language model provider
Cortex is powered by multiple LLM providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, all third-party large language model providers. In the course of its operation, the feature will transmit your data to these providers for processing. Street Systems Ltd does not own or control these providers and makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any output it generates.
3. You are responsible for human oversight
Cortex can be configured to operate with varying levels of human oversight, including fully autonomously. The level of oversight applied is your decision entirely. Street Systems Ltd strongly recommends that meaningful human oversight is applied at all times, particularly where actions may be irreversible or have material consequences. You accept responsibility for your oversight configuration and its consequences.
4. Your data protection obligations
Your use of Cortex will involve the processing of data, which may include personal data, by a third-party provider. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Cortex complies with all applicable data protection legislation and is consistent with your existing obligations and privacy notices.
5. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Street Systems Ltd accepts no responsibility for any outputs, results, or actions generated by or taken by Cortex. Your use of the feature is at your own risk and you are solely responsible for reviewing, supervising, and taking responsibility for anything the feature does within your environment.
In no event shall Street Systems Ltd be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss or damage arising out of or in connection with Cortex, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profit, or reputational damage.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Street Systems Ltd's total aggregate liability to you in connection with Cortex, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Street Systems Ltd in the twelve month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this notice shall limit or exclude Street Systems Ltd's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.
6. Your confirmation

(a) you have authority to bind your organisation to this notice;
(b) you have read and understood this notice in full;
(c) you understand that the Cortex can access your data across your product environment or environments and transmit it to a third-party LLM;
(d) you understand that the Cortex can take real-world, potentially irreversible actions autonomously;
(e) you accept responsibility for configuring and supervising the level of human oversight applied; and
(f) you have considered your data protection obligations in connection with your use of the Cortex.
